In Loving Memory

From Lucy’s mom:  On August 4th 2013 I got a call from CPR that a 3 month old puppy named “Chicago” needed to be picked up as an owner surrender. The minute I saw her, I was in love. Within five minutes “Chicago” became “Lucy” and I knew I’d become a foster failure. My 8 year old pug, Lola welcomed her into our home and showed nothing but patience for the spunky little puppy. Lucy made me smile everyday and loved nothing more than to be near me and/or Lola.

On January 2nd my sweet, spunky, loving, happy, quirky Lucy crossed the Rainbow Bridge. It was the worst moment of my life. I miss her more than I can say and wish I could turn back time. My heart is broken for my puppy taken too soon.

Thank you CPR for helping her find her way to me. I am forever changed by her and her spirit.
