Hi, my name is Princess and my mom and I were brought to the Vets office to be euthanized by our previous owner. We are so confused because we are still young at heart and healthy. I’m thought to be about 11 years old. I’m a fawn pug and much bigger than my mom. People always think she is the daughter and I’m the mom! My foster mom has me on a diet so I can loose a few needed pounds. My back legs aren’t as strong/mobile as they used to be and I’d be much better if I weighed less. My vision and hearing is good and I help my mom around, who is visually impaired. Sometimes I have to find her when she has lost her way but as soon as we touch noses, we go where we need to be. It took several days before my new family realized I was her helper. I don’t move as spryly as she does but I have a lot of strength and the will to keep up. I love attention, ear rubs and sleeps with mom. I like to chew on nylabones even though I don’t have as many teeth as I used to. Toys don’t seem to be as important to me as they are to my mom. I bark at squirrels and birds but we aren’t barkers otherwise. We love to snuggle, nap and snuggle. I’m potty trained but do have an occasional accident if I get really excited. The weakness in my back end makes it hard to control sometimes and I’m sorry. It’s super easy clean up with my current diet. We pee outside in the same exact spot, drink at the same time….. We do most everything together and would love do everything with you.
