Hello! My name is Boss. I am a handsome guy who lives up to my name! I came to Compassionate Pug Rescue after being surrendered by my family. Unfortunately, I have degenerative spine disease. This disease makes it difficult for me to walk. My back legs don’t work very well and I have a hard time standing up from laying down.

However, I don’t let that stop me from enjoying life! I love to be outside in the fenced in yard with my 4 foster brothers!. I love to eat and am a little overweight (don’t worry I’m on a diet so I can get my pug figure back). I bark to remind my family when it’s time to eat!

Because of my spinal disease, I have some issues with my bladder that makes going to the bathroom difficult. In order to help me, I’m on special urinary care food and have a special medication that gets sprinkled onto my food. I am housebroken if I am taken outside regularly. I do have occasional accidents with my bowels.

I love to snuggle with my foster family on the couch, but I also enjoy laying on a big, comfy dog bed to sleep. My foster family pushes me in a wagon to go on walks through the neighborhood. I love to sit in the wagon and enjoy the breeze blowing in my face. I live with a teenager who I love; however, because of my spinal disease and needs, I would do best in a home without small children.

I can be the boss of your heart if you love special pugs like me! Fill out an application today. CPR considers adoption applications from Florida Residents, Age 21 & over. Review our Application Process and Complete our Online Adoption Application at:
