New Beginnings

Gizmo

gizmoWell…I’m just hanging out at my new forever home, and wanted to take this moment to thank everyone at CPR for all the love they give and work they do.

My family says that they are now complete!  I have a cool, older pug-brother that I get to go to the park with, and snuggle next to; our favorite thing to do though, is alert mom and dad when the mail has arrived!

Also, I have been enjoying massages, back scratches, and belly-rubs; I feel like a celebrity these days!

I know that lots of other pugs are looking for the royal treatment; so if you know anyone that might be interested in providing such love to a deserving companion, send them to CPR!

Happy Holidays!  – Mo

Ollie

ollieHi, Pug-Lovers,

This is Ollie checking in from my forever home. I know it’s been a while since you’ve heard from me, so let me bring you up to speed! You might recall me from my early pictures when I was a scared, skinny boy. The kind people from CPR rescued me from a closed-down pet store in Miami. I was in a crate most of the time and didn’t get much to eat, but CPR took me in and loved me. Soon, I learned to relax, eat healthy food, and I began curl my tail again in trust, as a happy pug should!

Now, at my forever home, I have a nice gated back yard, so when I feel the need for speed, I run on the grass with my ears flying back in the wind. It’s one of my favorite things to do! I love people, I passed my first level of obedience training, and I love to eat, like any young man would! Next I’m gonna ask mom and dad for the car keys, ‘cause I like going for a ride every now and then too!

Thanks, CPR, for giving a young guy a second chance at a happy life! ~ Oliver Twist

Roscoe

roscoeHi everyone, it is me Roscoe. I used to be named Haruki, but I didn’t answer to that and my new kids wanted to call me Roscoe.  I think it suits me really well.

I have settled in nicely with my Mom and 2 kids.  My Mom lets me follow her around everywhere and as you can see I have a very comfy place to sleep – I’m king of the castle. I get to help Brayden with his homework and I love to give kisses and play with Delaney.

I’m a really great dog (as they keep telling me) and I love being here as much as they love having me.  I can tell this home is used to having pugs around because they know exactly what I want and need at all times.  I’m so happy here in my Furrever home.  Thank you CPR for finding me the perfect fit!

Emma

emmaWe were fortunate enough to find the perfect little gal from Compassionate Pug Rescue.  In the short time we have Emma she has warmed our hearts and has become a part of our Family.  We cannot imagine how it was without her.

Now her sister, Abby has another view of the situation.  Abby has been an only child (pug) for five years now and she is jealous of the attention given to Emma.  We had hoped Emma would be a playmate for Abby, but Abby is Abby.  Perhaps they will bond as time goes by and Abby can see what Mommy and Daddy sees in Emma.

Emma’s tail wags constantly despite all her disabilities.  Being blind does not hinder or take away from her disposition.  Clap your hands and call her name and she will be there in a flash.

The girls love to get new dresses as you can see.  I might mention that most of their wardrobe purchases, benefit the Humane Society with the proceeds being used for good cause.

We would like to think that Emma likes her new Family.  We certainly love her and we are so happy we chose Compassionate Pug Rescue to find our perfect little gal.
