The following pugs are in loving foster homes and CPR is committed to caring for these amazing pugs for the rest of their life. Due to their diagnosed medical needs or advanced age, CPR has determined that the pugs listed in Hospice Foster Care are extremely special cases. If you believe that you are capable of giving these special needs pugs a loving and compassionate home AND are capable for caring for them veterinarily, please consider completing an adoption application. CPR only accepts applications from residents of Florida. All of our pugs are spayed/neutered, current on shots, and heartworm negative. Our adoption fee depends on the health and age of the pug. One hundred percent of this fee is put back into CPR to pay for the medical expenses and treatment of our rescue pugs. You must fill out an adoption application if you're interested in adopting a pug from CPR. We also welcome donations to help care for these specific pugs. If you'd like to donate to the care of a specific pug, please indicate that on your donation. These pugs need foster angels!.
We are Jojo and Coco formally known as Jodi and Cotton. We came to CPR about 1-1/2 years ago after the loss of our human mother. We’ve been on the west coast in a wonderful foster home with a great foster mom and sister. Now we are gracing the east coast with our presence.
We are a pair of fine young ladies, who are litter mates and have been together our whole lives. We are smaller pugs who still have our girlish pug figures. Don’t let our chronological age fool you.
According to our foster mom we have adjusted very well to our new home. As long as we are put outside on a regular basis, we don’t have accidents in the house.
The cute pug in the picture without her tongue hanging out is me Coco. I am a little timid and my mom thinks this is probably because I have trouble seeing and am hard of hearing. Hey I can see my bowl and smell the food! I don’t like it when my mom leaves and this is about the only time I bark. My new mom uses her hands to signal me when she wants me to come over for a pat and rub behind the ears. I need eye drops twice a day and take them easily.
As time has gone by, and I become more comfortable in my new home, I have become more independent and less timid. According to my mom I am a very sweet, loving girl. I have recently learned to walk on a leash and love it!
Hey what is wrong with a pug whose tongue doesn’t always fit in their mouth? I am Jojo and I think I am especially cute because of it. My mom says I am very friendly, smart and have no bad habits. I love strutting my stuff and meeting the human and dog neighbors when we go for a walk. Since I don’t have sight or hearing problems like Coco I take the lead in new situations and Coco follows me. We love each other very much and are relieved CPR doesn’t want to separate us. We take good care of each other, our foster mother loves it that we groom each other at least once a day. She wants us to groom our new foster brother.
So if you have room in your heart for a couple of sweet loving pugs, we are the girls for you.

Hi! My name is Buster, but my foster family and friends call me the Busteroo! I have a wonderful and by choice permanent smile - I’m a happy guy, and a little trot in my step! I also like to relax and snooze during the day - I’m pretty low maintenance.
I get along with other pugs/dogs and with children. My foster family is taking good care of me, but I am really looking for a long term family that will take care of my in my senior years. I have a couple of issues. I really cannot see very well, however, I know this is not unusual for a pug my age. I use eye drops daily. I easily adjust to new environments, navigate on my own and learn the lay of the land quickly.
I love a backyard to trot around in (though not when it is too hot), I walk on a leash and I am potty trained - though I am working on breaking my marking habit.

Hi, my name is Simon and I am a 10 year old pug. I do need special care as I appear to be deaf and need eye drops for my dry eyes. I too will see the ophthalmologist to see what can be done to help me. My foster mom says that I do just fine even though i can not hear her.
I love to gives kisses and go for short walks. I love to play with my chew toys. I am house broken and have not had one accident in the house, as long as you keep me on the schedule that my foster mom has me on I will do well.
If you have room in your heart for a well-behaved guy like me please fill out an adoption application.
Adoption Fee: $100

Hi, I’m Thor and I have to say I am very proud of my gray face, I think it makes me look wise. I’ve had a hard life, and I am looking for someone that will love me in my old age.
I was adopted 4 years ago from another rescue, Planet Pugs and my parents took very good care of me. Sadly, they lost their home to foreclosure and could not keep me, but the nice people of CPR are helping me find a new home.
I know that my chances of finding someone to want an old fellow like me are slim, but I hope you will consider giving me a place in your home and heart. I have a lot of love to give and would like to join your family. I hope you can look past a few of my faults and let me share my life with you. I do have a small limp and a little arthritis, but that will never keep me from giving you a hug.
I also have a few degenerative discs, that sometimes make me poop on the floor, but I never mean to. If you would like to get to know the sweet guy I am, please fill out this adoption application and the nice people from CPR will contact you.
If you would like to help Thor in his quest to find a new home, but can not adopt him. Please consider becoming his foster angel. Help us care for Thor’s medical needs, while we work hard to find him that very special home and make a secure donation by clicking on the bone below.
Adoption Fee: Because of Thor’s special needs, his adoption fee will be discussed with his potential adopting family.
