Rocky truly lives up to his name! Marcia sent me a picture of 8 month old Rocky a while back to work on for the CPR website. He looked a lot like one of my other pug boys, Hogarth. When I work on a photo, I feel as if I get into my subjects soul. About a week after the photo, Marcia asked me if I would foster Rocky a few days while she had to go up north. I said no at first, very well knowing I would fall in love with Rocky. He went to another foster home, but I took him to a Dr.’s appointment a day later and he never left my side!
Rocky had a lot to adjust to. His new home, parents, two pug brother’s, Hogarth and Chaps, and his two pug sister’s, Madeline, and Bella. He also had to deal with his injuries and upcoming multiple surgeries for a broken growth plate in his front leg, a broken hip, entropian surgery for his eyes, and neuter. Rocky came through surgery with flying colors. His recovery will be ongoing for some time, but he is feeling well enough that I can let him be a puppy and play to some extent. He and Hogarth are the closest so far (the brother I thought he origionally looked like).
Now my husband and I are smoothered with hugs and kisses from five pugs!
