Happy Endings

Hi Marcia,
This little guy sure has come a long way. He was rescued from Animal Control. It was found that he has a corneal ulceration which left him blind in one eye. Then, while at the vet for a skin problem, it was discovered he had a large mass on his intestine. After the successful removal of the one pound mass; we found out it was malignant. We talked to the doctor and to Marcia and felt confident that Mookie was healthy enough for us to adopt him. Since then, he has made himself right at home.
Mookie loves to run up and down the stairs, lounge in bed, go on long walks, and take rides in the car. For my husband, he finally has a male companion in the house. Mookie has fun playing with my girls and hanging out in the playroom with them. He is even adjusting to his two pug sisters: Kiwi who is 12 and Koko who is 11. He is a totally different dog since his surgery. He now has enough energy to even jump on the dinner table and help himself to our leftovers ( that’s something we’ll have to work on with him). We are showering him with hugs and kisses all of the time. Our family just loves our little boy!
