It will be three weeks that Apple has joined our family. Apple had no problems adjusting to her new home, she acts like she has always been apart of our family. My wife and I had a hard time choosing a name; therefore we decided that it was appropriate to leave her name “Apple” because of its significance regarding the removed eye.
Trevor, our three year old son loves to play with her, Jeremy our nine month old son is still trying to figure it all out. Pugsley, our 9 year old pug is getting his “pay backs” when he was a puppy he used to torment another pug in the neighborhood just like Apple presently torments him.
As for myself and my wife, Pugsley from the very beginning attached himself to my wife and Apple has attached herself to me. As the day comes to an end and we are watching TV, Apple jumps on my lap before I can sit down, because Pugsley is older and bigger my wife has to pick him up and put him on her lap. With all of this said, we are happy that we were able to rescue Apple and she is happy in her new home.
