Foster Families Needed!

Have you considered fostering?

Opening your home to care for pugs that are on their way to their forever home is one of the most important aspects in rescue. CPR is always looking for volunteers that are willing to foster pugs, but now, more than ever, CPR is in need of foster families. As a foster parent, all we ask of you is a kind hand, a little patience and a loving home while we search for a forever home for your rescued foster pug.

Our foster parents pay for nothing, (unless they want to). We provide the: crate if needed, food, Heart Guard & Frontline, and any vet visits that may be required. No foster parent in our organization is ever forced to take a pug; we try to match the foster pugs to households that suit them and where they will thrive.

If you can open your heart and home to foster one of our pugs in need, please fill out our Volunteer Application, including the specific Foster questions.  A Foster/Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch with you as soon as possible.  Thank you! xoxo

I am interested in being a foster mommy. I have been owned by 2 pugs in the past. My boy passed from heart failure in March 2017. My girl heart failure also. Just a little note my rescue Chihuahua lived to ripe old age of 23. I have been employed by Elpaso Humane Society in Colorado. And worked for a veternarian in Wyoming. I have 2 neutered female Shi tzu’s.( very outgoing and friendly ages 4 and 11.) I also have 3 small cats that love dogs. We walk 4 times per day for our daily exercise. I am 71 and a widow and retired.
