Sophie

Sophie is a sweet loveable beautiful 12 year old gal who came to CPR two years ago when her owner went into a nursing home. Since then Sophie has had bouts of chronic intestinal problems-colitis which keeps her loving foster family busy with vet visits, special foods and medications. Sophie loves to snuggle her foster family and brother Rocky the pug as well as her human brother! Her sight is not as good as it used to be but she is enjoying the love and gentle hugs from her devoted foster family who will love her forever! CPR is grateful for our foster families and for the love and generous support of our friends who make it possible to care for hospice pugs like our sweetheart Miss Sophie, thank you!

Maya

Hey everyone, I’m 12 year old, sweet as could be Maya!

For a while, things weren’t easy because I kept moving from home to home. But I’m in a loving permanent “fospice” home now and I love it! I get along with everyone, love to be with my family, and enjoy walks. I am blind but that doesn’t slow me down one bit! I’m full of energy and spunk!
I am always happy and have one of the biggest pug smiles that you have ever seen!

Any support that you can give to CPR will help with my permanent fospice costs, and my family and I sure would appreciate it. I hope you like my pictures!

How cute am I?
Four-letter words like pugs, love and Maya are the best.

Petey

Petey

RIP Petey 05/31/19 ~ Fly High, Free and Whole Again xoxo

Petey was the sweetest little boy with spinal problems and was incontinent. When Petey came to CPR Christmas day 2015, he had a wobbly walk. After an MRI by Dr. Wong, it was determined he had disc problems in his neck. Petey was blind and had to have one eye removed.  This little guy had spirit and spunk. He was so sweet and he loved his belly rubs after dinner every night in his loving foster moms arms.

Tommy

RIP Tommy ~ 05/16/19

Until we meet again at the Rainbow bridge sweet boy…   xoxo

Tommy was a sweet boy who ended up at animal control at the time in his life he needed the most love and care. Although Tommy was deaf and blind, a gentle touch and cuddle meant the world to him! Tommy had a crisis when he first came in and spent a few days in ICU but had recovered nicely. Tommy’s foster mom said he liked to explore the backyard and sleep on the sofa with his brother.  He liked being with his family and sitting on their laps.

Thank you to Tommy’s foster family and to all those that support CPR so that we can continue to provide a loving home for pugs like Tommy.
