Seymour

seymourHi, I’m Pugsy and the little guy in the picture is my new brother Seymour. My Momma got me (Pugsy) from CPR just over 2 years ago and gave me new home with lots of love and kisses. I love kisses. Then in June my Momma bought me a new house with a nice big yard so I can run around and play, but one day Momma went back to CPR and she brought home my new brother Seymour. At first I didn’t like it, Seymour was kissing my Momma!  But then she explained what a tough time Seymour had had before he came to live with us, and that he needed lots of love and kisses, so I guess it’s OK.  I remember when I didn’t get any kisses and that made me sad.

Now me and Seymour play games with Momma, and she lets us both sleep on the big bed, we love to snuggle up with her. Don’t tell Momma, but I like having Seymour around, he’s a fun little guy.

Oh yeah I nearly forgot, we have an older brother, Pharo, but he doesn’t look like us, I think he’s called a “cat”!  He’s OK though, when Momma goes out he opens the Pantry door for me and then we “borrow” all the treats she keeps in there, but Shhhhhh Momma doesn’t know!

Little Dutchie

little-dutchieLittle Dutchie (aka Dutchess) is doing great.  She is a real cutie! I call her my girly girl! She loves to hide under the covers in the morning, hoping to avoid getting up.  When I come home in the evening she dances all around, we go outside and she can’t wait to come in jump up on the couch and get her belly rubdown.  I am so happy I found her.  I thank you for all your hard work in pug rescue and helping bring the two of us together.  Dutchie has a home for life and I just love having her around.

Bunches and Bunches of Thanks!!!

Sonny

sonnyDear CPR,

Thanks for making my foster parents (who are very cool) fall in love with me and finally adopt me!  Even though they failed as foster parents they are a big success at being my Mom and Dad.  I love playing with them in the back yard and the dog park and have even shed a few pounds from all the play time.  I get along pretty good with my new brothers and sisters (Bruno, Chopper and Gracie the cat).  Overall, I’m very happy!

Thanks again CPR,

Love Sonny

Lola

lolaDear CPR,

I just wanted to thank you for helping me find my new family and taking care of me while you looked for a new family.  I don’t know what happened to my original family, but my new mommy and daddy love me very much.  I am very attached to my new family. When my mommy leaves for work in the morning, I snuggle up in her laundry basket. When she is at home, I am at her side doing whatever she is doing at the time. I enjoy chewing on bones and sprinting throughout the house with my new sister Molly…boy does she have a lot of energy.  I will admit that I have gained some weight since I have been at my new house since I love to eat so much, but I guess that is what I am supposed to do as a pug. I know that my new family is so happy to have me in their lives because they were sad when their other pug (Lucy) died unexpectedly of an auto-immune disease.  I am trying to break my bad habit of biting when I do not get enough attention, but that is still a work in progress.  I am happy that you were able to find me a good forever home and I know that I will be loved forever here.

Love and snorts,

Lola
