Frankie

frankieHi Everyone – my name is Frankie and I’m eight months old.  I recently had a bad fall out of a 4th story patio and my previous owners couldn’t afford my vet bills, so I ended up at the Pug Rescue.  I am very lucky to be alive, but the doctors weren’t able to save my left eye.

As luck would have it, I fell into the arms of a loving family with two other pugs the very same day as my surgery.  They love me very much and give me lots of hugs and kisses.

My mommy said I am the fastest eater she has ever seen, and growing stronger and more confident every day.  Having one eye is not slowing me down at all!  I’m having the stitches removed next week and can’t wait to get this cone off my head, so I can run around and play with my new brother and sister.

Gotta run, going outside for a walk with my new family!

Pug hugs,

Frankie

Riley

rileyI can’t tell you how much joy he has brought not only into my life but also into Paris’. The two of them typically play and take turns chasing each other for about 10 minutes after dinner and they’ve even been known to snuggle up together on the dog beds when they’re absolutely exhausted. I’ve nicknamed him my “little monster” for all of those great Pug noises he makes. Everyone he meets in the elevators he befriends and we even occasionally run into Rocky and Rosa (another Compassionate Pug Adoption) on our walks. Riley has even discovered that he enjoys affection and will line up or push his way between Paris and I if he hears those “kissing noises.”

Your e-mail yesterday reminded me just how much I treasure and adore my pets and can’t even imagine how any dog could end up in the kind of condition those in the photos did. Thank you for your part in making sure these wonderful animals end up in good homes and thank you for finding Paris and I the perfect match we’d been looking for!

I’ve attached a couple of new photos for you too! Please let me know if I can be of further assistance in any way.

Best regards,

Jennifer, Paris and Riley

BJ

bjBJ was found wandering the streets of North Miami. He was completely tick infested and had a dry and patchy coat. From the moment I saw BJ, I felt needed. What a great feeling to be needed. In return BJ has given Shelby and I lots of love and companionship. Isn’t life wonderful?!

Ivy

Ivy & Yogi

Ivy & Yogi

Hi everyone, my name is Ivy (crime fighter).

I was adopted by my new family on August 9, 2009. Since then I’ve been the happiest pug alive. My new family loves me very much and takes very good care of me. My new daddy Ralph and my new mommy Champa treat me like the little princess I am and give me lots of attention.

It’s a good thing my new brother is not jealous. Yogi my brother is very laid back and chills out, he doesn’t bother me at all. In fact I always want to play with him, but he doesn’t really want to be bothered by me at all.

All he really wants to do is eat and sleep, he is rather boring but at least he gives me some companion when my parents are not around.

I love my new family very much. They take me out for walks everyday and every Saturday if it’s not raining or too hot my parents take me to the dog park so we can socialize with other dogs. I couldn’t ask for a better family.
