Tootsie

Tootsie came To CPR after her family lost their home to foreclosure.  Tootsie was born in about 2007 so she is a senior, but she still has a lot of spunk!

Unfortunately, Tootsie’s back legs don’t work for her anymore and her eyesight has gone.  She needs help with all of her bathroom duties as she can no longer do it all herself.

Compassionate Pug Rescue is committed to making sure that Tootsie is well cared for and has everything she needs for a comfortable life in a loving CPR foster home for the rest of her days.

Tootsie currently does not have a sponsor or “Pug Angel” as we like to call them.  If you’d like to be a Pug Angel for one of CPR’s Permanent Foster/Hospice pugs, please click our “Donation” Button on any of our CPR website pages and sign up for a Paypal Subscription for $25 per month or more and let us know which pug you’d like to be a Pug Angel for!

Thank you for supporting Pug Rescue! xoxo

In Memory of Vader

In Memory of Vader…

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sheila and family as they help Vader to the Rainbow Bridge….  Vader came to CPR from Miami-Dade Animal Services in December 2014. He was an elder pug who happened to also be blind and deaf.

Sheila and family cared for Vader and made him part of their family, allowing him more than two years of feeling loved before leaving this earth.  Run free at the Rainbow Bridge Vader… where we are sure you’ll be greeted by many wonderful pug friends that have gone before you…

Until we meet again…. xoxo

Foster Families Needed!

Have you considered fostering?

Opening your home to care for pugs that are on their way to their forever home is one of the most important aspects in rescue. CPR is always looking for volunteers that are willing to foster pugs, but now, more than ever, CPR is in need of foster families. As a foster parent, all we ask of you is a kind hand, a little patience and a loving home while we search for a forever home for your rescued foster pug.

Our foster parents pay for nothing, (unless they want to). We provide the: crate if needed, food, Heart Guard & Frontline, and any vet visits that may be required. No foster parent in our organization is ever forced to take a pug; we try to match the foster pugs to households that suit them and where they will thrive.

If you can open your heart and home to foster one of our pugs in need, please fill out our Volunteer Application, including the specific Foster questions.  A Foster/Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch with you as soon as possible.  Thank you! xoxo
